JV's Tasting Bar has become the new spot for locals and visitors alike to come and sip, converse, and laugh together on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights. We love the excitement, and are constantly adding new events and happenings to our schedule at JV. There are special tastings, winemaker meet and greets, wine classes and more!

Bubbles and Chocolate February 5, 2010
Bring someone special to our next big Bubbles event and taste over 30 different sparklings from five different countries which include Cavas, Proseccos, Cremants, along with Mumm DVX, Scharffenberger, Roerderer, Schramsberg, Chandon and Domaine Carneros. Chef Diana will pair these lovelies with Anette’s Chocolates, and gourmet cheeses and charcouterie.

2009 Beaujolais Nouveau Release Party!
Celebrate in true French fashion, the release of the 2009 Beaujolais Nouveau at JV Wine & Spirits, Thursday November 19, 2009 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm. sample delicious appetizers made by JV's own personal Chef Diana. Wear traditional party hats while tasting not only the Nouveau, But some terrific Gamay Beaujolais from Morgon, Fleurie, Brouilly, and Chiroubles to name a few! Who knows, we may open some special Red Burgundies as well!
FRIDAY TASTING EVENTS!
$5.00 tasting fee per person Come join in the Friday night Winemaker Tastings for lively conversation, good fun, and a taste of some of the best wines in the world. During the Friday Night Winemaker Tastings, JV showcases special wines from Napa Valley beyond. Yummy appetizers are also served. The Tasting Bar has become the perfect meeting place for locals to gather before heading out to dinner on Friday night. (and you will often see somebody of note strolling our wine aisles!)*Must be 21 years of age to enter JV's tasting room.UPCOMING FRIDAY TASTINGS:On Friday nights we highlight some of the best and brightest winemakers. Many of these producers make small amounts of handcrafted artisan wines-from a single barrel to a few hundred cases of handcrafted artisan wines.Come join us from 5 pm -7 pm on Fridays for great wines and conversation.
